Research activities

My research interests include well-posedness problems for differential equations, fractal geometry and mathematical pedagogy.

My recent work focuses on data analysis and visualisation for educational enhancement and decision-making.

I'm currently working on an STFC supported outreach project: "2000 + 1: a space maths odyssey", which uses space-themed maths problems to teach 11 - 14 year olds.

    • In these module I teach a significant amount of R and Python programming and data analysis.


    Biography

    I joined 探花社区 in 2015 as a Lecturer in Mathematics.

    I'm now a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics, and Learning and Quality Lead for the Faculty of Science and Technology.

    In addition to teaching and research I have a significant interest in ensuring the faculty develops high-quality courses. I chair the validation and review sub-committee that reviews all programmes of study developed in the Faculty of Science and Technology.
